Calling all pie lovers and eating enthusiasts! This year will mark our second annual Little Rye Pie Eating contest at the Heart of Midtown Festival on Saturday September, 19th at 5:00PM. Winners take home a $100 gift card to The Little Rye Bakehouse (to use at our shop or at markets) and a Pie Royalty Card (a slice of pie a week for an entire year)! Twelve contestants will take center stage to eat their hearts out, first to finish their entire pie takes home the prize! Contestants will be provided a limited edition Pie Eating t-shirt for the grand festivities. “Betting” jars will also be set in front of each contestant so that the crowd can put money on their favored winner (contestant who raises most money will also receive a prize, so make sure you show the crowd you mean pie-business). All money raised will go to mental health organizations chosen by Heart of Midtown Festival.
